The civics questions come from the official Gesamtfragenkatalog and appear there word for word. The 100 official exam papers themselves are not published, not by us, not by anyone. The practice papers in the app reproduce their structure: 33 questions, 60 minutes, three of them about your federal state.

Because three of the 33 exam questions are drawn from the catalogue of your state of residence. Without that setting the app would have to show you the questions of all sixteen states, fifteen times material that will never appear in your exam. You can change the state in settings at any time.

The Einbürgerungstest is passed from 17 out of 33. In the DTZ, listening and reading are scored together: 33 of 45 tasks certifies B1, 20 certifies A2. Writing and speaking are assessed separately and by people, no percentage can be derived from them, and the app does not pretend otherwise.

As a rule yes: a passed Einbürgerungstest and proof of sufficient German, usually at B1. Exactly which documents are required in your case is something your naturalisation authority tells you, the app cannot replace that.

Through the store where you bought it: on iPhone under Settings › your name › Subscriptions, on Android in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling from inside the app is technically not possible.

Tap the flag icon on the question and describe briefly what is wrong. The report reaches us with the question number. For official questions we check against the catalogue and only correct our reproduction, we never alter the official wording itself.

Not while the same anonymous account is used and sync is on. Since there is no account with a name or email, progress cannot be moved to a different device where the app was freshly installed.
