Frequently asked questions
What does the theory test for the B licence look like?
It is 30 statements to judge True or False, with 20 minutes available. The test is passed with at most 3 wrong answers, that is at least 27 correct answers out of 30.
Where do the statements come from?
The 7,020 statements, split into 25 chapters, come from the list that the ministry publishes on the Portale dell'Automobilista. The explanations, translations and audio are produced by us.
Which languages can I study in?
Italian, French, English and Arabic: statements, explanations and audio. The test is only sat in Italian (in bilingual regions also in French or German): English and Arabic are study aids.
Is the audio a human voice?
No, it is a synthetic voice (automatic text-to-speech), not a recording of a person. One pack is downloaded per language: a connection is only needed for that.
What does the mastery percentage mean?
It is an estimate of your level based on your answers. It is neither a promise nor a guarantee of passing the test.
Is this the ministry app?
No. PrepaPatente is an independent app, not affiliated with the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti nor the Motorizzazione Civile. It is a private publisher that helps you prepare.
I found a mistake in a statement.
Use the report button in the app, or write to us at contact@azaza.fr with the statement. We correct every confirmed mistake.
Is my data safe?
Your progress is saved on your device and synced anonymously through Firebase. We do not collect information that identifies you directly. There are no ads.
