Frequently asked questions

What is the Class 7 knowledge test?
It is the written test you take at an Alberta registry agent office to get a Class 7 learner's licence, the first step to driving in Alberta. It has 30 multiple-choice questions on the rules of the road, road signs and safe driving, and you need 25 correct answers to pass.
Which languages does the app offer?
The questions, answers, explanations and revision sheets exist in English, French, Arabic and Punjabi. You choose the language of your questions in the settings and can change it at any time. The interface is in English, French and Arabic.
Are these the real test questions?
No. The questions are written for the app from the 2026 Driver's Guide and from the Traffic Safety Act and its regulations. Each explanation cites its page of the guide so you can check the rule. The real test questions are not public.
Is the mock test score my real result?
No. The mock test uses the real format, 30 questions and 25 to pass, but its score and the readiness indicator are the app's own. They say nothing about how you will do at the registry agent.
Is the app official?
No. Alberta Test is an independent practice app. It is not affiliated with the Government of Alberta, Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors or any registry agent.
