Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

By using Alberta Test, you accept the following terms.

1. What the app is

Alberta Test is an independent, unofficial practice app for the Alberta Class 7 learner's knowledge test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of Alberta, Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors or any registry agent. Its scores are estimates to help you practise: they do not replace the test, do not give you a licence and say nothing about the result you will get.

2. Content

The questions, explanations and driving scenes are written for the app from the 2026 Driver's Guide and from the Traffic Safety Act and its regulations. They are not the questions of the real test. The road signs are redrawn from the Alberta Traffic Sign Catalogue. The French, Arabic and Punjabi versions are translations made for the app: if a translation differs from the English text, the official guide and the law prevail.

Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence - Alberta. No logo or coat of arms of the Government of Alberta is reproduced. If you find a mistake, use the report button in the app.

3. Permitted use

You may use the app for your personal learning. You may not:

  • Copy, redistribute or resell the questions, explanations, illustrations or other content
  • Systematically extract the data of the app
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Try to get around the security, payment or authentication mechanisms

4. Subscription and payment

Alberta Test offers free access to part of the content, then an auto-renewing premium subscription with no commitment. Prices are always shown in the app before any purchase and may vary by region. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel at any time from your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account settings. RevenueCat validates premium access.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Where a right of withdrawal applies, premium access is digital content supplied immediately: by activating your subscription, you agree to its immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose that right, as provided for example by article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

5. Third-party names

The Driver's Guide, the knowledge test and the names of the Government of Alberta and of its departments belong to their owners. Any reference to them is purely descriptive and implies no affiliation, partnership or endorsement.

6. Availability

We try to keep the app available at all times. It may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is a study aid, not legal advice: always check the official Driver's Guide and the law. F. Azaza is not liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the app, including failing the knowledge test, a refused licence or the loss of data.

8. Intellectual property

The original content (questions, explanations, illustrations, scenarios, interface, algorithms) is the exclusive property of F. Azaza. Information from the Government of Alberta remains under the Open Government Licence - Alberta.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your province or country of residence.

10. Minimum age

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over.

11. Changes

We may change these terms at any time. Continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.
